Special Events

Worship

Join us for Worship in person any Sunday at 10:15 AM. We do ask that everyone conform to CDC guidelines—which means masks are not required at this time. Any one who feels more comfortable wearing a mask is welcome to do so.

If you cannot join us in person you can join our service via Livestream from our Church’s Facebook Page -- “First Presbyterian Church of Westerville" (or just click >HERE<. You can watch the service live or at any later time since the video is saved on Facebook.

Children are welcome to attend Worship with their parents. Activity bags are provided to engage active hands and minds during the worship service. Following the "Especially for Children" part of the service on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month children aged 5 and over are invited to participate in our Jesus And Me (J.A.M.) program in the Heart Room where they can be picked up after the service.

Audio recordings of our services are posted on Tuesdays on this website (follow these links from the menu bar above: Worship --> Audio Archive or click >HERE<).

Most of Rev. Dumford's messages and scripture selections are based on the Presbyterian Liturgical Calendar or Lectionary. The Lectionary also provides daily scripture readings that can be used to guide daily devotionals. For a daily lectionary follow these links from the menu bar above: Worship --> Daily Lectionary or click >HERE<.

Worship Space For Kids

Now open in the central balcony

Children can now take part in our worship service in a whole new way. The centeral balcony area has been designated the Children's Worship Space and setup with tables, chairs, quiet art supplies, sensory bins, puzzles, toys, etc. This space is available for all children who come into our sanctuary. If your kids don’t want to leave mom and dad, we have seats up there for parents, too. Come up to the Children's Worship Space before the service starts to check it out or to get settled in.

We also continue to offer worship bags with fun activities for kids who want to stay downstairs with their families.

We invite you and your children to explore and enjoy this space so we can make it even better. We look forward to seeing you there. We will be changing things around once a month to keep this fresh throughout the year, so we welcome any donations that can be used quietly during our worship service, such as crafts, puzzles, fidgets, etc.
