Rally Day

August 14

All families are invited to join us on Sunday, August 14, for the kick-off of our church year, especially our Sunday School and Discovery Zone programs. We know this year will be different with everyone getting back into things after the COVID pandemic, so we thought we would help parents and families by starting around the same time that school and other activities are beginning, which is earlier than usual this year.

During the 10:15 am service on August 14, we will begin our “Jesus and Me” class immediately following the children’s focus of worship. We will have a separate class for infantspreschool and kindergarten-5th grade.

At 5pm on the same day, we will host a carnival for all church members and their friendsat the home of Chris and Jen Hansen. We will provide food and fun carnival activities from 5pm-7pm. You will also get a chance to dunk our Director of Youth and Family Ministries, Heather Hicks, take selfies at our selfie booth, play carnival games, jump around in a Bouncy House, and visit the animals that live on Chris and Jen’s farm.

Our traditional Discovery Zone classes will officially start on Sunday, August 21, when we will also begin classes for all age groups (infant-adult). Our first month of classes will focus on “Celebrating God’s diversity.” Come to Rally Day on August 14, and then join us starting August 21 for family fun and age- appropriate classes for everyone in your family.
